Q-Med is a medical device company that primarily develops, manufactures, markets and sells medical implants. Most of the products are based on the company's patented technology, NASHA™, for the production of stabilized non-animal hyaluronic acid.
The company today has more than 650 co-workers in 20 countries, with approximately 400 at the company's head office and production facility in Uppsala.
Q-Med had sales of 1,272 MSEK during 2008. Q-Med AB is listed in the Mid Cap segment of the NASDAQ OMX Nordic.

Red Dot Award 2009 for excellent product design
We are delighted to inform you that the Restylane® Injector has awarded Red Dot Award 2009 for excellent product design.
The internationally renowned expert jury selected the winners from more than 3000 entries this year. Red Dot Award is an international design contest annually launched in Germany and it is considered as one of the most prestigious design awards in the world.

Restylane® in China
|
In June 26, 2009 Restylane® is officially launched in China in a seminar in Beijing. The seminar will highlight the product; the company and a market build up program focusing on training doctors. A number of leading doctors from around China will attend as well as main stream media representatives.
