Q-Med develops products that improve the appearance. When someone experiences a heightened sense of well-being, greater self-esteem or a greater quality of life with the aid of our products, that is beauty for us.
Hospital healthcare
Several of Q-Med's products have been the first on the market. Most of the products are based on the company's patented technology, NASHA™, for the production of stabilized non-animal hyaluronic acid.
The company today has approximately 650 co-workers in 20 countries, with almost 400 at the company's head office and production facility in Uppsala. Q-Med AB is listed in the Mid Cap segment of the NASDAQ OMX Nordic.

New CEO and new Chairman of the Board at Q-Med AB

Uppsala September 1, 2010
Bengt Ågerup leaves his position as CEO of Q-Med. The Board has appointed Maria Carell as his successor, as was presented in a press release on April 27, 2010.
Anders Milton, who has been a member of Q-Med's Board since 1997 and Chairman of the Board since 2009, has at his own request resigned as Chairman of the Board but is staying on as a member of the Board. The Board has appointed Bengt Ågerup as the new Chairman of the Board up until the next Annual General Meeting.
