Our mission: new products to the market

Didier Leclercq has been Managing Director at Q-Med since November 1, 2011. In his most recent position Didier was Full Development Director at Galderma, where he successfully led the global team that took several of Galderma’s products through the clinical development process to product registration around the world.

Didier Leclercq, who has been described by several of his previous colleagues as a “builder” and a likeable leader, sees an interesting future for Q-Med and has the following to say about his new team:

“I have been here for almost 2 months now and I am impressed by what I’ve seen. There are employees with great technical skill and insights, as well as loyalty, dedication, passion and commitment.” He continues:

“The unique resources that we have here must be utilized optimally to take a product from idea to the market in the best possible way.  The mission is to invent, develop and manufacture new products for the aesthetic & corrective market as well as to work strategically with the brands we have.”

In March 2011 Galderma acquired Q-Med AB, and the division will represent the aesthetic and corrective product portfolio within the Galderma sphere.

Galderma is a pharmaceutical company focused on meeting the needs of dermatology patients and physicians. The company is present in more than 70 countries throughout the world and has nearly 4,000 employees.
